 Men & Corsets - From A-Z

SIMPLE FACTS

Whether  wearing a corset for masculine, feminine, waist training or body modification purposes, there are basic differences between the male and female torso that cannot be dismissed when purchasing a corset.

Let's face it, when it comes to the average male and shopping, it is most often a fate worse than death. Purchasing clothing, especially undergarments and lingerie type apparel is usually not a top list pick and is most often left to the women when at all possible.

For those who are shopping for themselves, whether enjoyably, secretly, etc., it is our goal to make your shopping experience as painless and discrete if need be, as is possible.

LESS IS NOT MORE

In order to best assist our male customers with their purchase, the more information we are provided, the better we are able to assist you. We understand that the "how's" and "why's" of purchasing a corset may not be a topic easily discussed.

However, the information provided will help us determine which styles may best accommodate your needs. We are here to provide you with a service, not speculate, criticize, or judge  why or how the use of the purchase is intended.

Being custom styles are not returnable, it is very important accurate measurements are provided when ordering. As always, you do have the option to forgo this important step and request custom styles in standard sizing at your own risk.

Having a local tailor professionally measure you is an option, if you are unsure on how to properly obtain accurate measurements by ones self.

We are happy to assist you with any sizing, style or other information which may not be covered on the site.

THE LONG & SHORT OF IT

Being the male torso is typically broader through the chest, narrow through the underbust and hips, and longer in the torso, the main issue with both over and underbust styles lies in the hip region and torso length. Corsets are generally cut to accommodate the "hourglass" shape, being bustier up top, narrow through the waist, short through the torso and bigger in the hips.  More often than not, male customers require made to measure corsets, cut specifically for their measurements. Additional fees apply for this service.

SELECTION

For those customers strictly on the masculine tip, there are certain styles and fabrics that will help achieve waist reduction or control, aid in weight loss etc., without any air of femininity. Black satin, Beige satin, Nude Coutil and Black coutil are popular fabrics among our male clientele.

For those male customers on the feminine end of the scale, "skies the limit"! We offer a large range of fabric and trim options, with or without overlays, fancy ruffle and lace trims, and matching accessories.
